Personable, Drive, Understanding and Energy
The driving force behind Wallerbosch Recruitment & Advies is Marleen Wallerbosch (1981). Marleen was born in the ‘Back Corner’ of the Netherlands (Achterhoek). From an entrepreneurial family of retailers, she opted to go into recruitment after obtaining an HBO in Account Management from the influential Schoevers institute and studying Communication Science at the prestigious Radboud University. She gained huge experience in her field whilst working at Randstad and YER. Her skill in making the match between client and professional lead her to becoming a senior partner. Her network is large and diverse spreading throughout the Netherlands. Marleen is active in profit, semi-profit and non-profit organisations. She has a broad knowledge of various industries.
Accurate, no-nonsense and with a broad interest
Employed as office manager at Wallerbosch Recruitment & Advice since the end of 2019. Harmke Bons (1988) wanted practical experience after her studies in History, Religion and Conflict Studies. She started as office manager / event organizer at OX MAX, went on to become the financial officer at Kerk in Actie (Protestantse Kerk Nederland). Now she will use her knowledge and expertise to help Wallerbosch Recruitment & Advice grow and professionalize. Harmke’s broad view and great learning ability ensure a good synergy with Marleen and a stable foundation for growth.

“Purpose economy is enterprise that benefits the greater good and general interest of society; it is a way of working that gives a concrete, constructive contribution to social issues.” ¹
Various scientific studies show that the current generation in the labour market (Generation Y, Millennials, candidates born between 1980 and 2000), places less importance on material things. To them, a purpose economy is becoming increasingly more important. However, it is not simply generation Y who feels this is important! Our experience is that most people and organisations are committed to sustainability, socially responsible and purposeful living.
A sustainable business with purpose, is the goal we pursue. Recruitment and labour market communication advice is our passion. We do this with a personable and transparent approach.

Why A Business With A Purpose?
The drive to make life more meaningful and have purpose did not happen overnight. It was a gradual process.
Marleen Wallerbosch explains:
“Our daughter was seriously ill in 2015. She spent six months in the Amalia Children’s Hospital at the Radboud UMC in Nijmegen and underwent several operations. Our family were one of the ‘lucky ones’. Our story had a happy ending but as a family we learned that a happy ending is not guaranteed. There are, have been, and continue to be sick and dying children. That hurts. Therefore, through our experience, I chose for a meaningful life with purpose; not only at home but also in business. I try to make a difference through concrete and constructive contributions to society. Charities, organisations and foundations that are closest to my heart are those which help sick children and their families. Working in paid employment rather than for myself left me insufficient space to make my work have purpose. Therefore, in 2019 I made the decision to move on and establish my own business in the purpose economy. ”
